1- Shipping & Delivery

 

1.a- Wine orders: 

 

The cart will calculate the rate based on the number of cases ordered.  The standard rate for each selection will be reflected in the shopping cart and will update as items in the cart are added.For standard, non-scheduled delivery, Shipping and Handling rates will vary.

 

1.b- Where We Ship:

 Currently we are shipping within the states of AK, CA, FL, ND, NV, NH, Oregon, Washington D.C, WV and WY Only.

 We ship wine to select states in accordance with state laws.   

 

1.c- When free shipping applies:

 Periodically we will offer free shipping with certain restrictions.

 Does not include Alaska, Hawaii, or any US territories


1.d- Details:

 

Many states prohibit out-of-state retailers from shipping wine to residents of their state.

 

State laws on wine shipping are complex and under constant review, and we look forward to a day when all states open up to out-of-state retailers so we can offer you all our full assortment of products.

 

In most states, regulations limit the amount of wine that can be shipped to a single address in a given period of time. The limits vary state to state, some with monthly limits and others with yearly limits. Because of these regulations, if an order you are placing will exceed the bottle limit to your shipping address, our winesbycase.com shopping cart will not allow you to place the order and will let you know you have exceeded your limit. 

 

There may also be times when a winesbycase.com, or one of our distributors, a winery or wholesaler has specified a limit on a specific wine because of limited availability.  

 

Shipping options are important because an adult must be present to accept the delivery and an adult signature is required for the delivery of alcoholic beverages.

 

 

1.e- Shipping Option

 

To ensure prompt and successful deliveries, make sure to select the shipping option that best meets your needs:

 

Home Delivery: 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S.; 3–7 business days to from Alaska  and it will be between 5 P.M. and 8 P.M. on the scheduled date of delivery.

 

Ground: Delivery generally between 1 and 7 business days once the package leaves our warehouse.

 

2 Day: Delivery to businesses by 4:30 P.M. and to residences by 7:00 P.M. in 2 business days to most areas once the package leaves our warehouse.

 

Express Saver: Delivery by 4:30 P.M. in 3 business days to most areas, by 7:00 P.M. to residences. Available throughout all states except Alaska and Hawaii.

 

Standard Overnight by 3:00 P.M.: Next business day delivery by 3:00 P.M. to most U.S. addresses (by 4:30 P.M. to rural areas) once the package leaves our warehouse.

 

Note, not all shipping options are available in all locations or for all products.  Only the options available to your delivery destination will appear.

 

winesbycase.com works with FedEx to ensure the on-time and secure delivery of any of your orders.


We follow the time compliance of the FedEx system to ensure that your delivery is shipped, secure, and traceable under the supervision of one of the most trusted carriers in the Unite States, FedEx.

2- Returns        

 

Your satisfaction is very important to us.  We are committed to delivering your product in excellent condition and in a timely manner. We provide delivery estimates for you in the shopping cart at the "Confirm Order" stage and provide shipping options and applicable charges at that time.   Order processing time is contingent upon credit card authorization, and does not include weekends or holidays. 

 

If you are dissatisfied in any way with your purchase, please contact us within 15 days of your purchase date by visiting our Returns section and completeing our return form.

 

 

2.a- Merchandise Damaged in Shipping

 

Every single bottle in each and every packge we ship goes through our quality control department.

 

It is unusual to receive a damaged product from winesbycase.com.

 

However, in the event you experience a problem with a shipment (severely damaged labels, unopened broken bottles, badly misshapen, deteriorating, leaking, and molding corks), please contact us within 15 days of your purchase date by visiting our Returns area and submitting your complsint using our email provided.

 

We require you to return any unopened bottles to us for quality control information and we will determine at our discretion to offer a replacement, a discount, a refund or an account credit to be used for a later purchase. You will not be credited for the original shipping and handling charges, and we will supply you with a return shipping label.

 

 

2.b- Quality of Wine Received Does Not meet the Standards

 

We are proud to offer great values on the world's best wines. Our goal is to help you choose the wines that you will enjoy.

 

To give you a balance of information, we display wine ratings from several different well-noted publications along with reviews and awards. We also offer many products, each with a quick overview, short description, detailed maps and pairings; all to assist you with your purchasing decisions. 


While ratings, testimonials and reviews may influence your decision, the ultimate judgment is yours. 

 

Although we work toward providing you with as much information as possible to help you make a selection that you will enjoy, we cannot guarantee that you will like the taste of every bottle of wine you select.

 

However, in the event you do experience a problem with the quality of the wine (corked, oxidized, maderized, refermented) please contact us within 15 days of your purchase date by visiting out Returns page and submit your issue using the email provided.

 

We will determine at our discretion to offer a replacement, a discount, a refund or an account credit to be used for a later purchase. You will not be credited for the original shipping and handling charges, and we will supply you with a return shipping label.

 

 

2.c- Returns and Shipping Charges

 

Returns for refund will be processed without the original shipping and handling charges, and return shipping and handling charges.

3.b- Processing an Order


Your order of in-stock merchandise will be shipped based on the time frame associated with the method of shipment selected at the time of check out.

 

Orders received on weekends and holidays will be processed on  the next business day. If your order cannot be shipped within 30 days of the date of your order, you will be given the option to cancel your order.

3.c- Sales Tax

 

Sales Tax is not charged to orders shipped outside Florida.

 

 

 

4- Creating, Viewing & Updating Account Information

 

4.a- Create Your Account

 

To create the account, we will ask for the following:

 

- Your name

 

- Date of birth

 

- Zip code (if you are an international customer, enter the shipping address US zip code)

 

- Email address

 

- A password

 

Your winesbycase.com account will store this information along with the orders you place using your winesbycase.com account.  Because we are a retailer of wine, there are many regulations to which we must adhere, and this requires our sales and deliveries to be properly recorded.

 

There is no need for you to save any credit card or address information on your winesbycase.com account.

However, the winesbycase.com order forms do request data from users including: Contact information such as name and shipping address; payment method information such as credit card number, expiration date and CVV code, billing address, and billing phone number. This information is used for billing purposes to verify that the customer is of legal age, to properly authorize the credit card and to fill customers' orders.

 

Also, we communicate important order status information through your winesbycase.com account. 

We will email Order Confirmations and Shipping Confirmations along with tracking information.

If we encounter difficulties when processing an order, the information you provided on your winesbycase.com account is used to contact you.

 

This information is gathered from a secure area and encrypted for our customers' protection. It is not sold or shared with anyone else under any circumstances.

 

 

4.b- Your Account Password

 

Your winesbycase.com login is the email address you entered when you registered on our site. Your password should be between 5-16 characters long and case sensitive.

 

If you cannot remember your password, please click "Forgotten password" in the log-in page.

You will be asked to submit the email address associated with your winesbycase.com account. 

Once that is submitted, we will send you an email with instructions and a link to a form that will allow you to change your current password and login to your winesbycase.com account. 

 

4.c- Editing Your Account

 

You can update your winesbycase.com account information by logging into your winesbycase.com account online. 

To do this, click on the "your account" link located at the top of any winesbycase.com account page, you will see the listing of the items you can view and/or edit. Simply click on the item you wish to edit from the selection and save your changes as applicable. 

 

4.d- Saving Addresses Directly from the Shopping Cart

 

You can also save addresses and credit card numbers when placing an order. While in the Shopping Cart, click "save this credit card" in the Billing Information screen or "save this address" in the Shipping Information screen.  These saved addresses will then also be available and listed in your account Address Book.

 

4.e- Viewing Your Orders

 

You can see your order history, access specific order information and track orders in progress by clicking on the "your account" or "track your order" links that are at the top of any winesbycase.com page.

 


 

5- Email Confirmations

 

winesbycase.com sends email order confirmations to the email address specified in your account.

 

An email confirmation of new orders is sent that specifies when your package has been shipped.

 

Email confirmations are considered a service, and are therefore still delivered to customers that have requested not to receive promotional email messages from winesbycase.com.
