Corvinone

Corvinone is a grape only grown in Italy. This grape was identified as "Corvina veronese grossa" and only until recently this variety has been given its own identity.

It is well adapted for withering, in order to produce Amarone and Recioto Valpolicella wines.

The lower stems are of medium fertility. The variety gives rise to red ruby color wines with intense perfumes, sometimes fruity, and sometimes spicy. They are full body wines with a high proportion of tannins.
